How it Works
Devdazzle brings three services together under a single account: a marketplace for ready-made digital work, an academy for online courses, and a public portfolio for showcasing what you make.
A single account, three services
When you register, you can buy, sell, teach, learn, and publish a portfolio from the same profile. Your reputation, audience, and history carry across all three services. There is no separate seller account, instructor account, or portfolio account to create.
Marketplace
The Marketplace is a store for ready-made digital work such as 3D models, game assets, audio packs, software, plugins, and templates.
For buyers. Browse listings, review previews and descriptions, and complete checkout. Files become available for download immediately after payment is confirmed. You receive a usage license for each item, and your library remains accessible from your Dashboard.
For sellers. Create a listing from your Dashboard with files, previews, a description, and a price. Each listing is reviewed against the Content Policy before going live. When a buyer completes a purchase, Devdazzle is the seller of record for that sale and pays you your share to your connected payout account, on the payout schedule shown in your Dashboard.
Academy
The Academy is a store for online courses. A course is an instant-access digital purchase that runs on the same reseller checkout as the Marketplace.
For learners. Browse courses, review the description and curriculum, and complete checkout. Enrollment is granted the moment payment is confirmed, and you keep lifetime access from your Dashboard. Course videos stream privately to you through a per-viewer signed link; they are not downloadable, and access is personal and non-transferable. Any resource files an instructor attaches to a lesson are downloadable. Lifetime access is subject to revocation on refund, chargeback, or a moderation takedown.
For instructors. Build a course from your Dashboard with a title, description, category, cover image, and lessons, including a video for each video lesson. Every course is submitted for a mandatory review before it goes live, and any edit to a live course re-enters review. A paid course needs an active connected payout account. When a learner enrolls, Devdazzle is the seller of record for that sale and pays you your share to your connected payout account, on the payout schedule shown in your Dashboard.
Showcase
The Showcase is a public portfolio for finished work. Upload images and short videos, write descriptions, and group items into collections. Your portfolio is linked to your profile, so visitors can see your work alongside any listings or courses you offer. Showcase items are public and discoverable; you decide what to publish.
Payments and payouts
All transactions on the Marketplace and Academy run through the platform's payment provider. Card and payment details are not stored on our servers. Devdazzle retains a commission on each sale - 10 on a Marketplace product and 10 on a course - and, as the seller of record, pays each seller and instructor the remaining share to a connected payout destination on the payout schedule shown in the Dashboard, subject to the minimum payout amount. Devdazzle is not a bank, money transmitter, trustee, or escrow agent and does not hold customer funds on deposit; your payout is a contractual debt paid to your connected payout account.
Trust and safety
A few mechanisms apply across the platform:
- Seller of record. Marketplace and Academy payments run through the platform's payment provider, and Devdazzle is the seller of record for each sale. As seller of record, Devdazzle calculates, collects, and remits any applicable consumption tax and issues the receipt.
- Content review. Listings and courses are reviewed against the Content Policy before they go live, and any edit to a live course re-enters review.
- Reporting. Copyright issues can be reported through the Copyright Report form. Other concerns can be raised by email.
- Direct support. Every inquiry is read and answered by a member of our team.
Refunds
Digital products and course enrollments are generally non-refundable once delivered, with limited exceptions reviewed by our team. Course refunds are at the discretion of Devdazzle, may be requested within 15 days of purchase, and are decided by our team rather than granted automatically. On a refund or chargeback the enrollment is revoked, and the same course cannot be purchased again. The full terms are in the Refund Policy.
